I grew up in Pickering and have made Durham Region my home for most of my life. I attended the University of Toronto to complete my undergraduate degree while raising my daughter. I attended my first year of Law School in Victoria, British Columbia. Due to family considerations, I returned to Ontario and completed my LL.B. at Osgoode Hall Law School in 2000. I was called to the Bar in the Province of Ontario in 2002.

Since completing law school, I have continued to live and work in Durham Region. My legal career has been focused primarily in all areas of family law. I have been a sole practitioner and I have also worked for a time for Legal Aid Ontario. I was thrilled to join Elliott & Hills in 2012 and I feel very fortunate to be part of a group of experienced, highly respected legal professionals.

I look forward to assisting clients in resolving their custody, access, support and property issues. My philosophy for practising law has always been to work with my clients toward an efficient, appropriate and practical resolution to their legal issues. I believe it is important to remain focused on the long term solutions, always taking into consideration the best interests of the clients and their children.
