I grew up in Whitby and obtained my BA (Hons) with distinction in Criminology from UOIT in Oshawa. I continued my education in graduate school at the University of Leicester (UK) where I was awarded a Master of Science degree in Criminology, specializing in the study of terrorism and global security.

After completing my initial studies, I embarked on my life-long dream of serving my country in the Canadian Armed Forces. In 2014 I enrolled into the Canadian Army and was ultimately posted to CFB Kingston at the Canadian Forces Joint Signal Regiment where I served for four years.

Upon the completion of my military service, I returned to the United Kingdom and the University of Leicester to study law. In 2020, I received my LL.B. and was called to the Bar of the Province of Ontario in 2022.

I believe that my military service has positively impacted my life in many ways. Perhaps the most relevant being instilling the value of ‘service before self.’

Beginning a relationship with a lawyer requires having someone who will put your needs above all else, steadfastly advocating your cause, and advancing all relevant avenues zealously to a fair and just outcome.

It is truly a privilege to practise law in Durham and I look forward to working with you.
